There is one thing that most people in the world fear. It can freeze people in their tracks and leave them in never-ending analysis. It can make a person second guess themselves and question things they already know to be true. It can destroy their power, their creativity and focus.
It’s called FAILURE.
In society we are taught that failure is bad. That mistakes should be avoided. That you have to be perfect. It’s partially due to the constant brainwashing we are bombarded with by the media as we are constantly show the images of wealth, 6 pack abs and inhuman computer edited standards of beauty. School also has something to do with it. Think about it… What kind of emotion comes up when you think about seeing a bright red marker on your paper? Not the best feeling is it?
So here is my challenge to you. Change the game. Change it right now. Change is be realizing the truth. The only difference between success and failure is the label you give it, because there are only results.
Failure is how to learn, how to improve, how to get better. Think about something you’re really good at. Were you born that way? Or did you have to learn it? And along the way did you have any “failures?” Or did you have a lot of failures? But what happened after each failure? Did you try a different approach and keep going or just give up? No, you got better by taking different actions and you produced a better result and now you are great at that thing. You’re a natural now, right? But you were never born a natural. You became one thru hard work and perseverance.
Failure is the unspoken key to success. Failure, is your most unlikely (and unused) ally.
